Hey there! I’m Madison, your millennial therapist who brings a splash of whimsy and a hearty dose of humor to the therapy room. As a queer individual who experiences ADHD, I understand firsthand how life’s quirks can shape our experiences. I’d describe myself as someone who feels deeply, loves hard, and shows up with an open heart and approachability. I’m all about curating an inclusive therapy space where laughter and lightness are welcome, proving that personal growth doesn’t have to be scary or even that serious.
I firmly believe that you are the expert in your own life and the journey you find yourself on is your’s. My role is to walk alongside you in your process, ensuring that you are the one in the driver’s seat and I am with you. I believe the therapeutic relationship is rooted in transparency, respect, trust, and unconditional positive regard. I am an eclectic clinician who leans into trauma informed, strength-based, and skill building interventions. My work often includes DBT, CBT, motivational interviewing, Parts work, Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, and Gottman Therapy. Using these modalities, I help my clients address disruptive emotion dysreglation, attachment wounds, boundaries, confidence, self-esteem, anxiety, identity exploration/empowerment, shame, sexual dysfunction, executive dysfunction, and relationship conflict. I work to cultivate a safe therapy space that meets you where you are at and invites collaboration, compassion, and connection.
I am most passionate about supporting those who experience emotional intensity or strong emotion dysregulation, and I strive to empower individuals to navigate big emotions with compassion and resilience. My work is particularly attuned to the nuanced emotional experiences of young adults, LGBTQIA+, and those who connect with the neurodivergent experience. Additionally, I specialize in working with couples, polyamorous relationships, kink, and sexuality, recognizing the unique dynamics and challenges within these areas when an individual experiences intense emotions. Through evidence-based interventions and a holistic perspective, I aim to collaborate with individuals—and the systems that support them—on a journey of self-discovery. My goal is to empower you to embrace your emotions as valuable sources of insight and guidance. I am dedicated to curating a therapeutic space where you feel heard, understood, and validated. Together, we will work to equip you with the skills needed to navigate life's challenges and to build the life you want to live.
